Jasta 2 Boelcke Mission Statement
You can see that we are people who are gathered together for our enjoyment, but we give this enjoyment a ''military taste'', because we feel that this enhances our gaming experience. Therefore we ask our members to be mature thinking individuals, with a sense of duty and honor.
We are mostly flying Rise of Flight in the full realism servers, and stick more to the tactical aspects of the aerial combat than to the dogfights. You will find us at over 2000m altitude hunting for enemies and very seldom on the deck chasing the tails of ''grass scraping'' aircraft. We enjoy more returning to our base alive after a sortie, than killing some enemies and then dying ourselves too.

After you submit your application it will be reviewed. If your application is deemed to qualify, a squad member will reply to you to schedule a spoken interview. We are using TeamSpeak for our communications. For instructions on how to join our channel, or how to set up TeamSpeak, if you haven't it installed already, see this page:
Jasta 2 Boelcke Communications
Our squad member who has interviewed you will inform the squad leader (the Staffelfuhrer) on your potential as a Jasta member. If accepted you will be granted 'Cadet'' status, meaning that you are entering a trial period.
During this trial period you will be assigned a ''mentor'' -- a veteran squad member who will lead you through your training, in flying as well as the Jasta's code of conduct.
If you successfully complete your training, based on your mentors reports on your progress, you will be assigned the lowest rank of the Jasta and you will ''wear'' the J2_ tag in front of your name. And maybe, one day, become the Stafellfuhrer yourself!
